Lagangarbh at night

11:30pm provided the high pressure Saturday had been lacking. Clear skies and low wind, with a full moon gave us a beautiful night.

Lagangarbh Hut

The Scottish Mountaineering Club hut at Lagangarbh is remembered in climbing folklore as where the brilliant but rebellious young climber Dougal Haston enraged the staid SMC authorities by redecorating the interior in the style of Jackson Pollock, but unfortunately no sign of this paint job remains.

Creise Ridge

Pete, Oli, Sam and Joe took these photos on Sunday. We climbed up Sron na Creise, followed the ridge onto Creise and then Clach Leathad. We then headed up to Maell a Bhuiridh and descended through glencoe ski resort back to the car. [Photos & text Joseph Thomas]
